Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026 · Operated by Sibiwol(DEC) · contact@kkachifortune.com
Kkachi Fortune turns birthdays into a map of your circle. This policy says what we collect, why, who handles it, and how to get rid of it. It's written to be read.
1.Who we are
Kkachi Fortune is run by Sibiwol(DEC), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea. For anything about your data, email contact@kkachifortune.com.
2.What we collect
It depends on what you do here.
- Start a circle. A display name you choose, your birth date, and optionally your birth time. No email, no account.
- Join a circle. The same three things, plus whether you ticked the box that shares your birthday with the circle owner. The two required boxes — that you are 14 or older, and that you accept our terms — are checked, not kept.
- Check someone privately. Their name or nickname and the chart we calculate from the birthday you type. We don't keep the birthday itself. A chart is a close stand-in for a birth date, though, so we treat it with the same care.
- Sign in. The email you sign in with, and if you use Google, the name and profile image Google sends, plus the sign-in token Google issues, which we keep only to know the sign-in is valid. Each sign-in session records your IP address and browser type until it expires.
- Buy a reading. The order number Lemon Squeezy assigns. We give Lemon Squeezy your reading number and the link back to your map; your card details and the email you give at checkout stay with Lemon Squeezy.
- Everyone. When you create or join a circle, or try a birthday confirmation, we store a salted hash of your IP address to limit abuse. We only ever use the hash to count, never to identify you, and without our secret key it can't be matched back to an address. Like any website, our host and analytics provider also see your address when your browser connects.
- Usage. Pages visited, buttons tapped, and session recordings with every form field masked — see Analytics below.
3.How we use it
To calculate your Saju type, the relation between you and each person in your circle, and your chemistry scores; to draw the map; to write the readings you buy; to run your account and purchases; to limit abuse; and to understand how Kkachi Fortune is used.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
4.What others can see
Anyone with a circle's link sees the display names, Saju types, relation labels, and chemistry scores in it. Birth dates are never shown there.
The circle owner sees your birth date and time only if you ticked the share box when you joined. That same box lets them buy a compatibility reading about you two. Leave it unticked and they can do neither.
People you check privately never see anything — a private check is not on any map.
5.Who handles it for us
We don't run our own servers. A few providers handle your data on our behalf, each for one job, and each gets only what that job needs:
- Hosting and database providers in the United States serve the site and store everything listed above. The host keeps short-lived server logs.
- An AI provider writes the readings you buy. When you purchase one, we send the names and calculated charts of the people involved, the relation, and the lens you chose — never the birthdays themselves. Under our agreement with that provider, this data is not used to train its models.
- An analytics provider receives usage events and masked session recordings — see Analytics.
- An email provider delivers sign-in links to the email you enter.
- Google, if you choose Google sign-in, tells us your email, name, and picture. That sign-in is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record: it runs checkout, handles card details, sales tax, receipts, and refunds, and tells us the order number and that the order is paid. It's the name you'll see on your card statement.
6.Analytics
We use an analytics service to understand how Kkachi Fortune is used — pages visited, buttons tapped, and session recordings in which every form field is masked and the text of your readings is excluded. Analytics never receives your birth date, birth time, or email. Display names can appear in recordings the same way they appear on a map, which is one more reason to use a nickname. If you sign in, analytics knows you only by an internal account ID.
8.Security
Everything between your browser and Kkachi Fortune travels over HTTPS. Your data lives in a credential-protected database, not on any public page. Outside of your sign-in session and the short-lived logs any website keeps, IP addresses are stored only as salted hashes, and card details never reach us. No service can promise perfect security, though. If we ever learn that your data was exposed, we'll post a notice here and email everyone we have an address for, explaining what happened and what we did about it.
9.How long we keep it
- A circle and the entries in it stay until the owner deletes the circle, removes an entry, or a person removes themselves.
- A private check you haven't paid for stays as Unfinished in your Account tab until you finish or delete it. A circle reading you started but didn't pay for shows as Resume on your map and goes away with the circle or entry it belongs to.
- Purchased readings stay with the circle they were bought in, and with your account if that circle is gone. Deleting your account removes the ones held only there; private checks you can delete one by one.
- Sign-in links and sessions expire on their own.
- IP hashes from creating or joining a circle stay with that entry; hashes from birthday-confirmation attempts sit in a log we only ever count over the past hour.
- Session recordings are kept for 30 days and usage events for up to a year.
10.Deletion and your rights
Your account. Signing in (Google or a magic link) is optional and only needed to buy readings or to check someone privately. We store the email you sign in with, which circles are yours, and the readings you purchase. Delete your account anytime from the Account tab: your circles stay reachable from devices that hold their links but are no longer attached to you, and readings kept only in your account — private checks and readings from deleted circles — are deleted with it.
Deletion. Circle owners can remove anyone from their circle at any time, which deletes that person's entry — name, birthday, and chart. One exception: a reading the owner had already purchased keeps the name and chart it was written from, since the reading is drawn from them. If you joined a circle, you can also remove yourself from its map page by confirming your birthday. If you ticked the share box and change your mind, email us with the circle link and your display name and we'll switch it off without removing you. To request deletion of a circle, your entry, or a purchased reading about you, email us with the circle link.
Private checks. If you enter someone else's name and birthday to read your compatibility, we keep only their name and the chart we calculate from it, stored with your account. It never appears on any map, is never shown to that person or anyone else, and is used only to write that one reading. Delete it anytime from your Account tab — the reading goes with it.
Your rights. Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Email contact@kkachifortune.com — include the circle link if it's about a circle — and we'll answer within 30 days, free of charge. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, these are the rights those laws describe. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of.
11.Children
Kkachi Fortune is for people 14 or older, and every entry confirms that at the door. If we learn that someone under 14 has created or joined a circle, we delete the entry — email us and we'll handle it. A family reading in a private check may describe a child's chart; that chart is stored under the adult's account and covered by everything above.
12.Where your data lives
Our servers and providers are in the United States, and we operate from the Republic of Korea. Wherever you are, your data may be processed in both places under this policy.
13.Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, where we have your email, tell you. Continuing to use Kkachi Fortuneafter a change means the new version applies.
14.Contact
contact@kkachifortune.com. Include the circle link if your question is about a specific circle.
